Fuel prices will increase again, with diesel fuel rising, with the biggest rise since May. Already the cost of gasoline will reach a maximum of three months.

 

Last week was a significant rise in oil products in international markets. The euro has still caught these increases but can not avoid them. And diesel has even seen the biggest increase since May.

 

Thus, fuel prices will rise again from this Monday, 3 September. According to the evolution of raw materials, the cost of gasoline is expected to increase 0.5 cents. In the case of diesel, the increase will be more expressive: 1.5 cents. To confirm this evolution, this fuel will feel the largest weekly increase since the last week of May. The price of a liter of diesel fuel should therefore increase to € 1,379, taking into account the average prices currently practiced in Portugal, according to data from the Directorate-General for Energy. The cost of unleaded 95-octane unleaded gasoline is expected to rise to 1.6 euros per liter, which is the highest since the end of May.
