Professional Diesel: changes to the regime

Ordinance No. 269/2018, of September 26, was published in Diário da República, which provides for changes to the Diesel Professional regime.
This decree contemplates some of the claims advocated by ANTRAM for the sector, namely:
- Maximum annual supply limit per car: It goes from 30,000 lts to 35,000 lts.
- Self-service filling stations: The transitional regime applicable to the supplies made available shall be extended until 31 December 2019.
The Order now published has retroactive effect to January 1, 2018.
For practical purposes, companies that already have, during this year, exceeded the previous limit - 30,000 liters - can continue to benefit from the professional gas oil regime up to a limit of 35,000 liters.
We expect that by the end of the year the remaining measures foreseen in the Negotiating Protocol of June 7 will also be implemented.
