The Secretary of State for Energy, Jorge Seguro Sanches, will be present at the Opening Session of the largest Iberian Congress dedicated to mobility to Natural Gas. The 6th Congress of GASNAM is scheduled for 11 and 12 April in the space of Kinépolis in Madrid. The theme of the 6th edition of the Congress will be "Natural Gas: Intelligent Ecology for Mobility", with more than 70 presentations by specialists and agents of the sector at Iberian and International level in 19 sessions.

 

More than 600 congressmen are expected to discuss the innovations and innovations related to the use of Natural Gas as a sustainable fuel in land and sea transport. Particular attention will be given to air quality in cities and the advantages of Natural Gas, in particular in long-distance and professional transport. Several ongoing projects will be presented, in particular those being developed with the support of the European Union in Portugal and Spain.

 

Finally, we will discuss and publicize government and local initiatives to support the development of sustainable mobility, in particular in terms of eco-labels, support for vehicle acquisition and transformation and the development of the supply network.
