The Spanish DGT will define the responsibility for the packing of charge

As announced by ANTRAM on 26 March, from 20 May onwards, the Spanish authorities will start to carry out road inspections of vehicles and rigorous checks on the fixing of loads.
At the moment, a resolution of the General Direction of Traffic (DGT) that will regulate the Royal Decree 563/2017, of June 2, is to be published. Specifically, the purpose of the resolution is to clarify who is responsible for stowage and lashing. With this resolution, a document "Stowage sheet", adapted to each specific sector of activity, will be published, in which the person responsible for the loading, certifies that the merchandise is properly stowed. According to the information that has come to us, until the resolution is published in BOE, the DGT will give instructions to the Civil Guard traffic surveillance units, so that a transitional period of adaptation to the new regulation is established. During this period, no fines will be imposed.
